I run a music store in North Carolina in the southeast US.

I'm 45 and play guitar and bass. I'm married with 2 kids and a cat.

I collect records and cds(just got a 2 LP set of Clapton's "After Midnight Live")

One of my customers is looking for the Michelob TV commercial. This was the one where Clapton is playing the Crossroads box set version of After Midnight. I think there were a 30 second and 60 second version.

I've had no luck finding it for the guy and thought I'd try a Clapton forum to see if I could turn up a copy.

I actually have it somewhere in stack of tapes but it would take about 6 mos. to find it. So I thought this would be easier.

Un ami américain sur NOTRE site, je crois rêver. Un vrai de vrai et disquaire qui plus est !
Au sujet des copies sur DVD ou VHS pas de problème. Il y a ici plein de spécialistes qui pourront répondre à ta question, je n'en doute pas et in english en plus. Moi je suis trop fainéant...
Sinon, je ne connaissais pas cette pub et au final je la trouve pas mal foutue. On voit bien que la fille ne va pas hésiter longtemps entre son bellâtre et le beau barbu qui tient le manche (de sa Strat !). Les premières mesures d'After Midnight lui donnent le frisson, c'est évident. Deux ou trois Michelob de plus et l'affaire est dans le sac. Elle va craquer c'est sûr !
En tout cas c'est quand même autre chose que nos pauvres spots Optic 2000 ou... Badoit !

Ca m'a aussi permis de ré-écouter ce morceau... et j'ai remarqué (ou je l'avais oublié) que la version single fait 5:03 tandis que la version du coffret Crossroads fait 4:05, soit 1mn de plus sur le single qui comprend aussi une version live inédite de Cream de Sunshine.
