"Wednesday was the first night of Sunfest 2008 in downtown West Palm Beach and fans were excited about the great line up of bands.

Then, it got even better when a legendary musician made an unexpected appearance on stage.

Eric Clapton surprised fans when he joined Sheryl Crow on stage.

Earlier in the night, crowds were excited to hear George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, Caisey Raine and Co., as well as Michael Falti and Spearhead perform.

Some amateurs even tried their musical skills singing karaoke and joining in a competition of the musical video game, guitar hero.

Fans say this may be the best Sunfest yet."
