Back home again I´m still on cloud nine
EC was on fire !!! Amazing solos on Old love, Sheriff, LQOS and Badge. Very lovely version of Layla with wonderful vocals of EC - his voice has a sexy timbre
Another highligth for me "Anything for you love" and a beautiful interpretation of "Not dark yet".

For me the concert on May 22 was one of the best shows I have been. Eric was so relaxed, laugh a lot...no wonder the family was in the house It was so heart warming when he played "3 little girls" for his kiddies ...he really is now a family man, that`s good for him. The girls were dancing at the encore, the little one Sophie was dancing with Lee behind the stage.
Also the audience were on this evening better than on the other 2 shows. Standing ovation directly when Eric came on stage.

Saturday was musically as good as Friday. Fantastic the crossover from Eric`s solo to Tim Carmon with SOYL
and a brilliant solo on Sheriff.

Another not EC-highlight were the first personally meeting with the Claptonwebiens )) Such a warmly greeting from GA, Boogaloo and Olivier )...your are "très sympa"!!!
It was so nice to talk with you. Sadly the time was to short. No time to take a drink together because the pubs are almost closed when the shows are over (

But we hope you will join one of our meetings in Germany. It would be great when guitar players from claptonweb and clapton.de standing together on stage and playing songs from our all "hero" Eric ))....a small international claptonmaniac meeting, but with lot of fun for all, musicians and audience.
