A DVD of Eric Clapton's second Crossroads Guitar Festival, which took place Saturday in suburban Chicago, will be released Nov. 6.
The chronicle of the 11-hour event was directed by Martyn Atkins, who's worked on concert films for Tom Petty and Faith Hill. Atkins used 12 cameras and shot in HighDefinition and 5.1 SurroundSound.

Countryside Alliance plans rock concert featuring Eric Clapton and Bryan Ferry

The Countryside Alliance has announced plans for a rock concert featuring Eric Clapton and Bryan Ferry.

The event, called Countryside Rocks, will take place on 19 May at Highclere Castle, Berks in aid of the alliance.

Other names on the bill include Steve Winwood, Kenney Jones and the Jones Gang, Mike d’Abo, Jon Anderson and Gary Brooker.

Tickets cost £75 per person or £50 for under 19s.
