The duo played S.Wonder "Higher Ground".

After the Crossroads Guitar Festival in Chicago last summer, the duo is reuniting again for these three nights at Madison Square Garden.
They opened Monday night's show without frills, without gimmicks, just a little smoke floating off the stage. The lights went down at 8:20 p.m. and out they walked. Their plan was to let the instruments do the talking.

JJ Cale and EC was nominated for Grammy in the category of Best Contemporary Blues Album for The Road To Escondido. The 50th Grammy Awards will be held in Los Angeles, on 10 February 2008.
They will be in competition with Joan Armatrading (Into The Blues), Doyle Bramhall (Is It News), Robben Ford (Truth), Bettye LaVette (The Scene Of The Crime).

Eric Clapton joined Jeff Beck on 29 November at Ronnie Scott's for two songs "You Need Love" and "Little Brown Bird" for a lucky audience of 200 people.
The show in the famous London's Soho club was filmed for DVD release.

After their latest collaborations at Countryside Rocks in May 2007 and the Crossroads Guitar Festival in July 2007, Steve Winwood and EC will perform together at Madison Square Garden for three special concerts on February 25th, 26th, 28th, 2008.
