"Lost And Found" sur l'album "Back Home"

Bonjour à tous,
je viens d'acheter en CD l'album Back Home de 2005.
Le titre "Lost And Found" se termine en "queue de poisson",
est-ce pareil pour vous ?
ou est-ce mon CD qui est défectueux ?
Peut être un exercice de style, mais bizarre quand même...

Comme te le dit Sally ton Cd est en bon état et si la fin de Lost and Found est bizarre c'est bien voulu de la part de Clapton qui quelques temps avant avait entendu un titre qui finissait de cette façon.
Je ne sais plus si c’est en l’hommage de l’interprète (dont je ne me souviens pas du nom) que Clapton à décidé de finir Lost and Found de la sorte, ou simplement par ce que la formule lui plaisait.
Peut être que Boogaloo connaît le non du chanteur en question.
Il existe une édition japonaise de Back home sur laquelle il y a en bonus une version acoustique de Say What You Will.

Je m'excuse auprès de Bob de ne pas avoir répondu à cette question mais il m'a pris par surprise (il sait de quoi je parle) Je me joins à Olivier pour lui souhaiter la bienvenue.

Effectivement il a raison bob, au sujet de cette "queue de poisson" dont je ne me rappelais plus du tout de ce détail.

c'est effectivement un hommage à D'Angelo.
en voilà la preuve, un extrait d'une interview de sep 2005 :


Q: The song "Lost and Found" has a very abrupt ending, in the middle of your solo, and I wonder if that was deliberate?
CLAPTON: Yeah, it was an homage to this thing D'Angelo did on his "Voodoo" album.
Q: Well, I'm sure D'Angelo will be please to know you're an admirer of his work.
CLAPTON: (Laughs) He knows I'm a fan of his. It was from his "Voodoo" album, a song that was very Prince-like, and he ended it the same way.
